Let's Talk About... A Draft Trade for Each Team in the 1st Round - 4/9/21

I've been going through my memory banks to try to think of some good draft content for you all, that would also keep me entertained. I got a suggestion to do something with trades and I came up with this idea for what a trade scenario would look like for every team in round 1. I kinda feel like this idea isn't original, but I can't remember where exactly I've seen it.

Obviously, not every team is going to trade and we already know the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd picks won't be moved. But I think it could be a unique article to try to look through the lens of each team to see what might be possible for them. I am going to be giving only realistic trades based on what the team has available to trade. Some trades will be up and others will be down. I will include the player(s) that a team is moving up or down for in my explanation.

I'd be interested to hear from you all on what you think your team will or should do, whether it is stay put, trade up, or down. Hopefully, you enjoy!

 __________________________________________________________________________

Before we get started, I mentioned in the open that we all know the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd picks won't be traded. The Jags and Jets do have other picks though so they won't be left out. The teams without 1st round picks are the Texans, Rams, and Seahawks, but I will see if I can get one of them up into the 1st.

Also just an FYI, these moves are not mutually exclusive. This isn't a mock draft scenario where I am reacting to these moves and cannot make a move that has already been made. Each of these are separate scenarios.

4. Atlanta Falcons - TRADE DOWN TO 15 WITH NEW ENGLAND
Trade for CB Horn, Farley or EDGE Phillips, Paye

Trade Details: NE trades picks 15 and 96 (3rd) AND a 2022 1st rounder to ATL for the 4th pick.
Well if we know the 1st three teams aren't trading, the only way for the Falcons to go is down. The word on the street is that the Falcons are listening to offers. But we hear every single year that a team is listening to offers during this time of the draft calendar. I take that as "no one has offered us anything so we need more teams that are interested". Most teams know there are 5 1st round QBs in 2021 and the teams at 5, 6 and 8 aren't taking one of them. So the only reason to go up to 4 is to get the one guy you want. If someone wants a QB, they won't pay the price to go all the way up to 4. Therefore, I am actually going to throw out this trade back to New England for a QB and instead...

4. Atlanta Falcons - TRADE DOWN TO 10 WITH DALLAS
Trade for CB Surtain, Farley or EDGE Phillips, Paye

Trade Details: DAL trades picks 10, 75 and 115 (3rd and 4th) AND a 2022 2nd rounder to ATL for the 4th pick.
Atlanta needs defensive help and for a draft with a lot of elite prospects on offense, picking in the top 5 is not a good thing. Moving back should be a priority for them, unless they take a QB. I'm not sure if any team feels totally comfortable moving serious assets to come up for a TE (even if he is generational) or a WR (when there are so many good WRs in this class). But a player with the potential that Sewell has is rather rare to not be a top 3 selection. Jerry Jones knows he needs to protect his shiny QB investment and is aware of what a good OL looks like. What he has now is hanging on by a thread. Going back to ATL, I know they invested in Terrell in the 1st round in 2020, but the rest of the secondary is garbage sauce. I would prioritize the CB position before EDGE but can understand if they go there. I don't have Parsons for them because he feels kinda similar to Deion Jones.

5. Cincinnati Bengals - TRADE UP TO 4 WITH ATLANTA
Trade for OT Sewell

Trade Details: CIN trades a 2022 3rd round pick to ATL for the 4th pick.
The only way something like this happens is if the Bengals decide that Sewell (or Chase) is THE guy they want and will be unhappy if they don't get him. If I am the Bengals I would be happy to sit there and let the board fall to me and I can take the other if they are chosen. There is also a real possibility a QB or Pitts is taken at 4 and they get their choice anyway. The Bengals are historic for NOT trading down in the 1st round of drafts and hardly ever trading at all (ex. Carson Palmer), so that went into my decision making a little bit. But if I look at the board, the Bengals need to help Joe Burrow out in the trenches and with more weapons. They signed a 1-year RT in Rieff and have Jonah Williams, who is a 1st round LT, but I wouldn't let that stop me from selecting Sewell. Slater could be their choice as well because of his position versatility. I'm not sure. All I know is it seems to be down to Sewell or Chase, and in this scenario they want to make sure they get their guy.

6. Miami Dolphins - TRADE DOWN TO 8 WITH CAROLINA
Trade for WR Smith or Waddle

Trade Details: CAR trades Picks 8 and 73 to MIA for the 6th pick.
I think the Dolphins are probably going to be stuck at 6 now that they moved around from 3 to 12 and now back up to 6. However, a scenario I have daily nightmares about is the Falcons taking Pitts and the Bengals taking Chase (and I don't even want Chase). Detroit is a team to watch out for to take Smith or Waddle, but they could also be a team to move back (spoiler alert). I believe MIA should be able to move back to 11 at most and still secure one of them (ahead of the Eagles). In the scenario of the top 2 OTs and 4th and 5th best QBs being available, this could be another hot trade-up spot. With the acquisition of Sam Darnold, I believe Carolina is all-in on getting a LT in the 1st round. They won't expect Sewell to get to them at 8, so they have to jump up and take him before someone else jumps up to either 6 or 7. Miami will still be in range to get one of the top 3 WRs.

7. Detroit Lions - TRADE DOWN TO 15 WITH NEW ENGLAND
Trade for LB Parsons or CB Farley, Horn

Trade Details: NE trades Picks 15, 96 (3rd) and a 2022 1st rounder to DET for the 7th pick.
Detroit has shown their hand. Moving Matt Stafford was one thing. But when you also acquire Jared Goff and his terrible salary, the plan is obviously to look towards the future and salvage anything you can. It is interesting to me that the new Lions GM came from the Rams, yet he has so far looked to get as many draft assets as possible. With plenty of needs and a team that isn't going to compete in 2021, looking to move back should be a priority and dropping down 10+ spots may be possible with an eye for future picks. I think the Lions are stuck to Goff until 2022 but it doesn't mean they can't draft his successor next year. 7 feels like the spot where the 4th QB goes off the board if he is not taken at 4. Jumping the Broncos will be important and I don't think Carolina will want to move back and miss out on a tackle. If I am wrong about New England, perhaps Chicago or Pittsburgh makes a great leap.

8. Carolina Panthers - TRADE UP TO 7 WITH DETROIT
Trade for OT Sewell, Slater

Trade Details: CAR trades Pick 8 and 113 (4th) to DET for Pick 7.
I already outlined what I think Carolina is going to do in the Miami selection but a quick synopsis. Carolina getting Darnold takes their name out of the QB hat for this draft. However, their OL outside of RT and C is a mess. Moving up to secure Sewell or Slater makes a lot of sense to me if they don't believe they will fall to them naturally. Trading back and missing on one of those guys is a nonstarter for me.

9. Denver Broncos - TRADE DOWN TO 20 WITH CHICAGO
Trade for OT Jenkins or CB Farley, Horn or LB Davis, JOK

Trade Details: CHI trades Picks 20, 52 and a 2022 1st Round Pick to DEN for Pick 9.
I know everyone has Denver in the QB conversation this year like always and I get it. I am not on board with Drew Lock being the answer. But I really don't think Denver is going to move up for a QB. I can easily see them taking one if Fields or Lance is there at 9, though. Denver is in a really good spot to select the 1st corner on the board, but if they aren't sure about the QBs this year, and they may be in the hunt for one next year, getting an extra 1st next year is a great boost. If they move this far down the board, they may have missed all of the top 3 corners but RT could be upgraded as could LB. For Chicago, this is half what they would've given up in the Russell Wilson trade and they hope this QB can be more than half as good as Russ.

10. Dallas Cowboys - TRADE DOWN TO 13 WITH LOS ANGELES
Trade for CB Surtain, Farley, Horn or EDGE Phillips, Rousseau, Paye
Trade Details: LAC trades Pick 13 and 77 (3rd) to DAL for the 10th pick.
In one of the above scenarios, Dallas is ultra-aggressive to go up and get one of the top tackles. However, if they decide to leave Tyron Smith out there at LT, they should be addressing their defense and especially secondary. They may be in a position that all 3 of the top corners are on the board at 10 and someone is moving up to try and grab a tackle or a playmaker. If 4 QBs and 4 pass-catchers go in the top 8, an OT will be available here and NYG, MIN, LAC, LV, and others would have all have an interest. Dallas doesn't want to move too far down and miss one of the CBs. The Chargers were very aggressive trading back into the 1st round last year and I could see them being aggressive again.

11. New York Giants - TRADE DOWN TO 15 WITH NEW ENGLAND
Trade for EDGE Phillips, Rousseau, Paye or LB Parsons

Trade Details: NE trades Picks 15, 96, and 139 (3rd and 4th) AND a 2022 3rd rounder to NYG for Pick 11.
Alright so what if New England trades up... but it's not for a quarterback? I think the perfect team for Devonta Smith is New England and I don't expect he will make it past the 12th pick (assuming Waddle, Pitts, and Chase go in the top 10). For the Giants, I see a lot of good options here at 11 for them whether they want to go with another playmaker, offensive lineman, or a defense player. However, if they have multiple guys still on their board they could move back and possibly still pick up a very solid edge or the top LB in Parsons. I don't expect they will trade at all, but that isn't the point of this exercise.

12. Philadelphia Eagles - TRADE DOWN TO 21 WITH INDIANAPOLIS
Trade for WR Bateman, Marshall or CB Horn, Farley

Trade Details: IND trades Picks 12,54 AND a 2022 3rd round pick to PHI for Pick 12 and 123 (4th).
Philly was happy to move out of 6 and pick up another 1st round selection in 2022, but the pick acquisition isn't done. In this scenario, the Eagles missed out on the top 4 pass catchers and I have a tiny gap between those 4 and the next tier. If Philly is deadset on a pass catcher (which I am not positive on because of a few other needs), then they should look to move back instead of just selecting Bateman or Marshall here. Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, and Washington may be looking to move up to grab one of the LTs that are left before the Chargers can get him. Slater or Darrisaw may still be on the board. I am 100% positive that Philly won't be moving up. Staying put, even without those 4 pass catchers, is what I would expect. The Colts are able to grab one of the best corners or EDGEs, but also may have a shot at one of the LTs at 12.

13. Los Angeles Chargers - TRADE UP TO 7 WITH DETROIT
Trade for OT Sewell

Trade Details: LAC trades Picks 13, 47, and 198 (6th) to DET for the 7th Pick.
Last year, the Chargers did a massive trade up to secure a LB they knew would not fall to them in the 2nd round and they were willing to part with their 3rd rounder as compensation. If there is a player that the Chargers cannot leave this draft without, they will make a similar move. One thing that makes a lot of sense to me is pairing Herbert back up with Sewell. Offensive line has to be the selection for the Chargers and if they move any farther down the board they will be at risk of missing one of the top 3 guys (Sewell, Slater, Darrisaw). Detroit's POV is to acquire as many picks for the future as possible.

14. Minnesota Vikings - TRADE DOWN TO 24 WITH PITTSBURGH
Trade for EDGE Rousseau, Paye, Ojulari or OT Jenkins, Cosmi, Eichenberg, Radunz

Trade Details: PIT trades the 24th and 87th (3rd) picks AND a 2022 1st and 3rd rounder to MIN for the 14th pick.
Minnesota is at a really good spot to grab a LT, but if the top 3 are gone moving back and selecting a defensive player should be the play. Though, I am inclined to think they are going to be selecting a defensive player with the questions surrounding Danielle Hunter and their aggressiveness in going after Yannick Ngakoue. That side of the ball is not as good as everyone keeps saying it is.
Pittsburgh is not afraid to make aggressive moves. In 2019, they moved from Pick 20 to Pick 10 on draft night for their 2nd and a future 3rd. That was for a linebacker. This is for a QB so naturally, it will cost the Steelers more. If a QB doesn't go at 4, there will be 2 QBs left and not a lot of QB needy teams. If one slips to 14 and the Patriots are still at 15, a team will need to jump them to secure him. Pittsburgh hasn't drafted anywhere close to QB range in years and with Ben entering his final year, it is time to draft his replacement.

15. New England Patriots - TRADE DOWN TO 26 WITH CLEVELAND
Trade for WR Marshall, Moore, Toney, Bateman or LB Davis, Collins

Trade Details: CLE trades Picks 26, and 59 AND a 2022 3rd rounder to NE for Pick 15.
Everyone is expecting the Patriots to be one of the teams in the QB hunt this draft because they have never been as close to the top of the draft. That is exactly why I wouldn't be surprised to see them move down and not draft a QB at all. When it comes to the Patriots, your guess is as good as mine. It makes sense for them to be all about QBs because they have relatively no needs, but they could stand to upgrade at WR and at LB. The Patriots love hoarding draft picks and later in the 1st will be a great spot to add to either of those positions. Cleveland is interested in moving up to secure their favorite EDGE of the draft.

16. Arizona Cardinals - TRADE UP TO 12 WITH PHILADELPHIA
Trade for CB Farley, Surtain, Horn

Trade Details: AZ trades WR Christian Kirk, Picks 16 and 49 to PHI for Picks 12 and 70 (3rd).
Arizona has been anything but subdued this offseason. Trading for Rodney Hudson. Giving JJ Watt a boatload of money. They are going All In. They have Alford and Butler on 1-year deals in their CB room. Moving up to secure a guy with an affordable 4-year deal makes sense to me. The smart money says that Arizona will move back because they don't have a 3rd or a 4th. That is why in this trade they are giving up their 2nd and getting a 3rd back. Philadelphia missed out on the 4 pass catchers so they grab Kirk in this deal and can help the defense out with this pick.

17. Las Vegas Raiders - TRADE UP TO 10 WITH DALLAS
Trade for CB Surtain, Farley, Horn or OT Slater or LB Parsons

Trade Details: LV trades Picks 17 and 79 AND a 2022 3rd round pick to DAL for the 10th pick.
The Raiders have not been shy about selecting THEIR guys even if it is way earlier than they would go. For that reason, I don't think they will move back to get value. The only way is up then. Vegas has quite a few positions they could address in the 1st round. In 2019, they addressed EDGE, RB, and SS. In 2020, they selected a WR and CB. They just reset their entire OL in 2021, but could honestly still use help at WR or CB even though they invested there last year. If I had to pick, I'll go they trade up for Parsons because of the big school fetish the Raiders have and this regime hasn't addressed the position through the draft. I think CB is really where they should go though. Dallas should still be able to select a top 3 CB from 17.

18. Miami Dolphins - TRADE DOWN TO 22 WITH TENNESSEE
Trade for RB Harris or EDGE Phillips, Paye, Rousseau or LB Collins

Trade Details: TEN trades Picks 22, 100, and 166 (3rd and 5th) to MIA for Pick 18.
I am actually quite confident that the Dolphins will trade down from 18. They don't have many Day 3 picks and they value those. Additionally, anyone that they grab now has a good chance of being available at 22. With a trade back Miami may not be able to select their top guy of the group of 5 I have listed for them, but they already made moves in this draft going from 3 to 12 to 6, so they could get more picks and also value on the guy they do select. My guess would be that they forgo the RB position until the 2nd round and go with one of the EDGE guys. Tennessee gets to move up and select one of many players they need on defense or go WR.

19. Washington Football Team - TRADE UP TO 14 WITH MINNESOTA
Trade for LT Darrisaw, Slater, Vera-Tucker

Trade Details: WAS trades Picks 19 and 74 to MIN for Pick 14.
Washington is a complete enigma to me. I can't foresee their direction because of how well they did in free agency. WR isn't much of a need anymore. LB could use some help but like WR you can find those in the 2nd round. The biggest question mark seems to be at the tackle position. Morgan Moses can play LT but he is much better on the right side. Moving up to solidify that LT spot, rather than hoping Radunz can grow into the position or Jenkins can make the swap to the left side, makes a lot of sense to me. They also have an extra 3rd so moving up isn't such a huge deal. Minnesota can still get a defensive player from this position.

20. Chicago Bears - TRADE DOWN TO 27 WITH BALTIMORE
Trade for (future Russell Wilson and) CB Newsome or WR Marshall, Bateman, Moore

Trade Details: BAL trades Picks 27 and 131 (4th) AND a 2022 2nd round to CHI for the 20th Pick.
If Chicago is so uneasy about their QB position, they need to start collecting draft picks. There is a sense around the league that this may be Russell Wilson's last year as a Seahawk. If the Bears are smart they work to get as many top 100 picks as possible so they can get Russ to Chicago next offseason. With this move back, they are probably going to be out of the 1st tier of WRs and CBs, but tier 2 offers plenty of great players. Baltimore is looking to get their next EDGE rusher after losing out on Judon and Yannick in FA.

21. Indianapolis Colts - TRADE OUT WITH BALTIMORE FOR ORLANDO BROWN JR
Trade for LT Orlando Brown Jr

Trade Details: IND trades Pick 21 to BAL for LT Orlando Brown Jr.
The Colts are in a good place and I don't think they will move unless they take a massive trade up to get a tackle. However, cornerback is a position they really need to address this offseason and they didn't do anything in free agency. I have seen exactly 0 mock drafts with them taking corners because they have to fix the LT spot. Last year, the Colts made a shock move with the 49ers to trade for Deforest Buckener and it worked out great for them. This year, Brown has requested a trade and I don't expect he will return to the Ravens. The Colts have the cap room to extend him as well. Win-win-win. Baltimore gets an additional spot in the 1st round and can either select Brown's replacement or work on the EDGE spot.

22. Tennessee Titans - TRADE DOWN TO 28 WITH NEW ORLEANS
Trade for EDGE Ojulari, Oweh or WR Moore, Toney or DT Barmore, Onwuzurike

Trade Details: NO trades Pick 28 and 98 (3rd) to TEN for the 22nd pick.
Tennessee just has so many positions of need going into the draft and that is never good to feel confined to picking a certain position. The WR class is deep enough that they shouldn't address that here, plus their defense was awful last season. The best plan ahead is to acquire more top 100 selections and put most of them towards the defense. I have no clue on who the pick will be used on. New Orleans made a big blunder a few years ago moving up to take EDGE Marcus Davenport who has largely been useless. They could look to upgrade on him here however, I think the bigger need lies at CB opposite Marcus Lattimore.

23. New York Jets - TRADE UP TO 19 WITH WASHINGTON
Trade for CB Horn, Farley, Newsome or EDGE Ojulari, Paye, Rousseau

Trade Details: NYJ trades the 23rd pick and 86 overall to WFT for the 19th and 163 overall selections.
The Jets have far too many needs to count and with their QB selected at Pick 2, Coach Saleh will look to fix the defense the rest of the way. The 49ers had great success on defense, under Saleh, for 2 reasons. 1, they had a very aggressive front 7 with players that were able to pressure the QB and 2, they had a secondary that didn't give up the big play. The 49ers selected a DL in the 1st round in 2017, 2019 and 2020. My guess is that the Jets will draft an EDGE with their 2nd selection. Washington is very tricky and while they could move up, moving down also makes some sense when you see how complete their team is on defense. Grabbing an OT is still possible here at 23.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers - TRADE DOWN TO 36 WITH MIAMI
Trade for OT Radunz, Eichenberg, Mayfield or C Dickerson or EDGE Oweh

Trade Details: MIA trades Picks 36 and 81 (3rd) to PIT for Pick 24.
Every single cell in my body tells me that the Steelers are going to move up. But then I realize that I have 8 needs for them and QB isn't one of them. They are missing 3 OL, 2 CBs, an EDGE, a LB and a RB. They can't get all of these players in the draft. They don't have a ton of money to sign a bunch of guys. So, my guess is they get some guys to come to the team real cheap with the thoughts of one more playoff run. Draft the rest of the spots and pray like hell. If they move down and want to pick up serious capital, they will need to drop to the 2nd round where the tackle market is going to be pretty weak. I think an EDGE will be the play if no OL are available.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars - TRADE UP TO 20 WITH CHICAGO
Trade for iOL Dickerson, Davis or DT Barmore, Onwuzurike

Trade Details: JAX trades Pick 25 and a 2022 3rd rounder to CHI for Pick 20.
There is no point in trading down when they have another selection at 33 and then 45. However, Jacksonville may not feel comfortable staying put with a couple of iOL needy teams lurking around in PIT, MIA, TEN, and BAL. Jacksonville has restructured OG Norwell's contract so he will no longer be with the team next year. AJ Cann isn't too great that he couldn't get beat out by Dickerson. He would have been a top 20 prospect if not for his injury concerns.

26. Cleveland Browns - TRADE UP TO 21 WITH INDIANAPOLIS
Trade for EDGE Ojulari, Paye, Rousseau

Trade Details: CLE trades Picks 26 and 91 (3rd) to IND for the 21st pick.
Andrew Berry, the Cleveland GM, has been on point with getting more talent on his team since he took over. With an extra 3rd round pick in their pocket, Cleveland is more than happy to make sure they get that EDGE opposite Garrett. They brought in some EDGE guys for visits in free agency, but no one has signed yet and that leads me to believe their first priority is the draft. Indy does need to focus on getting a LT, but if they decide to move back there should be some corners available and they can sign Villanueva in FA.

27. Baltimore Ravens - TRADE DOWN TO 37 WITH PHILADELPHIA
Trade for EDGE Oweh or S Holland, Grant or C Humphrey, Dickerson

Trade Details: PHI trades Picks 37 and 84 (3rd) to BAL for the 27th pick.
With the assumption that Baltimore will recoup a 1st round pick for Orlando Brown Jr, the Ravens don't need to stay in this spot. There is a lot of value to be had at the top of the 2nd round at positions of need for them. The Ravens have always been very tactful with their draft and almost never are forced into making a move. Moving down allows them to let the other teams scramble over the last EDGEs and OTs and they can grab good value elsewhere. Philly has a lot of extra draft capital and can afford to move back into the 1st and grab a WR (if they missed on one with the 12th pick) or a CB like Stokes/Newsome or even a LB like Davis/JOK.

28. New Orleans Saints - TRADE UP TO 17 WITH LAS VEGAS
Trade for EDGE Paye, Phillips, Rousseau or CB Horn, Farley or WR Marshall, Bateman

Trade Details: NO trades Picks 28 and 60 to LV for Pick 17.
The Saints still have one of the best teams on paper without Drew Brees. They had to move on from a few players this offseason, but they have always been very aggressive in the draft. With help needed at EDGE, CB, and WR, I don't think they can wait around and let one fall to them and get the guy they want. My best guess is that if Farley or Horn fall to a certain point the Saints will be on the phone. Vegas is a team that I don't expect to trade down but they have quite a few needs and they get a 2nd round pick in this deal.

29. Green Bay Packers - TRADE DOWN TO 38 WITH CINCINNATI
Trade for C Humphrey, Dickerson or LB JOK, Davis, Bolton or WR Moore, Toney

Trade Details: CIN trades Pick 38 and a 2022 3rd round pick to GB for Pick 29 and a 2022 6th round pick.
I've been pointing to Green Bay as a team to move back in my mock drafts. I just think that for the positions that I assume they are targeting (C, LB, WR), there is more value in the early 2nd round than the 1st. Green Bay will probably be just fine with selecting at 29 and making sure they get their guy. But moving back 9 spots for a future 3rd ain't bad. Cincy will be looking to either get an OT or a WR with their 2nd pick, depending on if they go Chase or Sewell in the first. WR has more value here but the limited availability of OT may spark a trade up.

30. Buffalo Bills - TRADE DOWN TO 57 WITH LOS ANGELES RAMS
Trade for NCB Robinson or WR Brown, Moore or RB Carter

Trade Details: LAR trades Picks 57 and 103 (3rd) AND a 2022 2nd rounder to BUF for the 30th pick.
LOL. Well, I tried. Houston doesn't have a 2nd so no way they get into the 1st round without trading Watson and that isn't happening right now. The Seahawks hardly ever trade up so them moving 25+ spots makes no sense to me. That leaves the Rams as a team that has been aggressive. The thinking is that they can replace LT Whitworth when he retires with this pick. For the Bills, they have no needs so they can afford to move down and pick up a future 2nd rounder and an extra 3rd.

31. Kansas City Chiefs - TRADE UP TO 26 WITH CLEVELAND
Trade for LT Cosmi, Eichenberg, Jenkins

Trade Details: KC trades Pick 31 and a 2022 3rd round pick to CLE for the 26th pick.
Kansas City is very much still in win-now mode. They have very few needs and really only 1 that needs to be addressed early in the draft and that is at left tackle. They drafted OT Lucas Niang last year and he opted out, but he is a RT. They have many guards and RTs, but no one of stature to play on the blindside. Moving up to get the large Sam Cosmi is one of the safer trades in this article. Cleveland really needs to move up for their EDGE of choice, but they can sign Clowney and grab a LB here.

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TRADE UP TO 25 WITH JACKSONVILLE
Trade for CB Newsome, Stokes or EDGE Ojulari, Rousseau or DT Barmore

Trade Details: TB trades Picks 32 and 95 with JAX for Pick 25.
Tampa has been aggressive with resigning their guys this offseason but they need to look to the future as well. The defense really carried them in the playoffs but there are some players here that really fit what Todd Bowles wants to do. The Bucs like big long EDGEs, that is Rousseau. They like active and pass-rushing DTs like Barmore. Their corners are underrated but there aren't any superstars here. I'd like to see that spot upgraded. Jacksonville can move back and take back to back picks or auction that 33rd pick off to the highest bidder.
